Aziz Amiri - VICE PRESIDENT CANADA AFFAIRS

Aziz Amiri is an entrepreneur who runs a group of successful companies in Canada and Afghanistan. He thrives on locating and developing new  ventures from conception to levels of high profitability.

Nurturing and stimulating the business community's spirit and knowledge, especially among Afghan-Canadians, is one of Aziz Amiri's primary aspirations.  To achieve this, he co-founded and ran as the President of the Afghan Canadian Business Association (ACBA) from 1996 until 2006.  In 2006 he again co-founded and became President of a new business organization, Canada Afghanistan Business Council (CABC).  This young council is larger and more vibrant than the previous one and it continues to be spearheaded by Aziz today.  The CABC actively promotes business growth not only within Afghanistan and Canada, but in other countries and emerging markets worldwide.

Mr. Amiri is a veteran real estate investor and also the President of Crystal Group, a Canadian based real estate investment and management company with ventures in North America and the Middle East.  To foster his business relations, he holds memberships in several Canadian private investment and real estate clubs.

Prompt family of companies is another part of Mr. Amiri's business ventures.  It encompasses manufacturing, packaging, lighting, electric supplies and apparel.

In addition, Afghanistan's limitless business and investment opportunities have enticed Aziz Amiri to delve into the mining and construction industries.  His interests are boundless as he constantly expands his horizons by seeking joint ventures and opportunities in all sectors.

Aziz possesses a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) Degree in Agricultural Economics from Afghanistan and a Canadian Honours Diploma in Business Accounting from George Brown College in Toronto.
